National Convocation

USACV National Convocation

The USACV sponsors an annual summer gathering (convocation) of consecrated virgins in the United States. All consecrated virgins from the United States or other countries are warmly invited to attend. Also welcome are those who have previously attended an informational conference sponsored by the USACV, and who have been accepted by their Bishops as candidates for the consecration.

The convocation generally begins on Wednesday evening and ends at noon on the following Sunday. Presenters include the USACV Episcopal Moderator, the Most Reverend Earl A. Boyea, as well as other consecrated virgins. The days together include time for daily Mass, Morning and Evening Prayer, Adoration, speaker presentations, group symposium-style discussions on topics of interest, and social times. The annual membership meeting of the USACV is also held during the convocation days.

Recent convocations have been held at St. Mary's on the Lake Seminary Conference Center in Mundelein, Illinois (near St. Louis). It is possible that convocations may be held in other parts of the country.
